Bite correction with aligners

Aligners are a modern and almost invisible way to straighten teeth without braces. The clear aligners gently guide your teeth into the right position, and treatment is comfortable and aesthetic, with no food restrictions and nothing to be self-conscious about when you smile.

“For many people aligners are a revelation: no wires, no irritation, no discomfort — you simply change the aligners and watch your teeth straighten out. It’s treatment that doesn’t require you to rearrange your life”

What is bite correction with aligners

Aligners are clear trays that gently move your teeth into the right position. Each one is made individually from a 3D model of your smile: the doctor plans the path of every tooth in advance, and you can see what the result will be.

Aligners are worn about 20–22 hours a day, taken off only while eating and brushing your teeth. Every 1–2 weeks the aligner is replaced with a new one — and step by step the teeth straighten out. The whole treatment usually takes from 8 months to 2 years.

The aligners are made from a safe biopolymer that does not cause irritation and stays clear throughout the course. The doctor monitors the process every few weeks and adjusts the plan if needed, so that the result is precise and predictable.

“It’s important to know that aligners are effective for mild and moderate bite problems — when teeth need only a small change in position. If a tooth has to be moved up or down, the doctor may suggest combined treatment with braces”

Stages of treatment with aligners
Diagnosis and planning
The orthodontist takes a digital impression and creates a 3D model of your smile, on which you can see how the teeth will move at each stage.
Making the aligners
An individual set of aligners is made — usually every two weeks you switch to a new aligner, and your teeth gradually become even.
Active treatment phase
Regular visits to the doctor — about once every 1–1.5 months — to track progress and adjust the plan if needed.
Retention stage
After treatment is complete, a retainer is prescribed to help lock in the result.
