When to start prevention

Stages of the procedure
Getting acquainted with the doctor
The first visit takes place in a playful way: the child gets to know the office and the instruments and understands that it's safe and interesting here.
Examination and diagnosis
The doctor assesses the condition of the teeth and gums and, if needed, takes an X-ray to spot an early cavity in time.
Preventive cleaning
The teeth are cleaned with soft brushes and fruit-flavoured paste — without noise or unpleasant sensations.
Enamel strengthening
After cleaning, a mineral compound is applied that makes the teeth stronger and more resistant to cavities.
Hygiene training
The doctor shows how to brush teeth properly and, together with the child, chooses a suitable brush and paste.
