What pulp preservation is
The procedure aims to protect the nerve while it's still viable.
After removing the affected tissue, the doctor applies a special biocompatible material. It stimulates the formation of a protective layer — reparative dentin — which reliably isolates the nerve from external factors. This helps keep the tooth alive and healthy.
