Root canal re-treatment

A tooth can still bother you after treatment if inflammation remains in the root, invisible to the naked eye. At Belaya Raduga we use a microscope and AI image analysis and take on cases where conventional methods are no longer enough. This way we save the tooth even when it seems impossible.
When root canal re-treatment is needed
Belaya Raduga
with residual or recurring inflammation after the first treatment
Belaya Raduga
if pain or discomfort occurs when biting
Belaya Raduga
with foreign fragments in the tooth canals
Belaya Raduga
if X-rays show foci of inflammation — “cysts”, “granulomas”
Belaya Raduga
with complex root anatomy: when the canals are too curved or narrow, or if individual canals may have been missed during the first treatment
What complex root canal re-treatment is

It's a repeat therapeutic procedure in which the doctor removes the old filling materials, thoroughly cleans the canal system using ultrasound and antiseptics, corrects anatomical features, and seals the canals with a new biocompatible material under microscope control.

“Sometimes a tooth that seemed ‘lost’ can be saved. Root canal re-treatment requires experience and precision, but it makes it possible to keep your own tooth and avoid extraction.”

Stages of the procedure
  • Diagnosis: X-ray and 3D scanning, assessment of the old material under a microscope.
  • Removal of old filling materials
  • Cleaning and treating the canals with ultrasound, antiseptics, and special instruments.
  • Widening, shaping, and sealing with a biocompatible material under a microscope.
  • Monitoring the result and restoring the crown part of the tooth.
