What prosthetics for elderly patients is
It's not “the same teeth for everyone”. We take into account the condition of the bone, gums, and joints, medications (anticoagulants, diabetes, etc.), habits, and motor skills.
The solution can be:
- fixed (crowns/bridges on your own teeth or on implants — All-on-4/6, bar-retained structures)
- conditionally removable (fixed on implants with snap attachments — it doesn't wobble or fall out)
- modern removable (lightweight dentures with proper fixation and hygiene)

Removable or fixed — which is better with age?
Fixed structures are more convenient in daily life and hygiene. When there's little bone tissue or health limitations, we make conditionally removable solutions on implants: they don't “wander” and are easy to clean.
I take heart/blood-thinning medications. Can I have treatment?
Yes, in coordination with your attending doctor. We'll choose a safe plan: sometimes the medication schedule, the anaesthesia, or the scope of intervention is adjusted.
How durable are such solutions?
With good care and regular check-ups — for decades. The main thing is not to “forget” about hygiene and to keep the bite under control.
